This course is particularly geared towards those experiencing a degree of depression or anxiety but will benefit anyone that would like to find some space in their busy lives. The MBCT course is based on a very well researched format and is widely recognised and endorsed by organisations like the British Mindfulness Institute and the UK Mindfulness Network.

HOW IS IT DELIVERED?

The course will be held at the Boxgrove Clinic on Monday Evenings from 21st October to the 25th November.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

An open mind, a yoga mat and a willingness to engage in your own home practice on a daily basis.

DO I NEED TO COME EVERY WEEK?

Ideally full attendance on the course would benefit you the most but life is busy! Information will be available online for those who have missed a week to enable them to catch up.

EQUIPMENT

You can practice mindfulness anywhere but the best place is either sitting on a chair with a straight back or sitting on the floor supported by cushions. It is important to adopt an alert dignified posture for your practice. For some of the exercises you will be invited to lie down on the floor so often a yoga mat is useful.
