In-person hypnotherapy sessions
Calm, focused support in West Sussex
I offer in-person hypnotherapy sessions in West Sussex, primarily from Chichester.
Some people prefer to work face to face, particularly when anxiety, panic, or physical symptoms feel intense. In-person sessions provide a quiet, contained space to slow things down and work gently with what’s happening in the body and nervous system.
I work with clients from across Chichester and surrounding areas, including Midhurst, Havant, Westbourne, Bosham, and Emsworth.
How in-person hypnotherapy works
In-person sessions last around an hour and take place in a calm, private setting.
We begin by talking through what you’re noticing — whether that’s anxiety, physical tension, emotional reactions, or patterns that feel difficult to shift. We then work gently and collaboratively using hypnotherapy and mindfulness to support regulation and change at a nervous-system level.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout the session.
What in-person sessions can help with
In-person hypnotherapy can be helpful for a range of issues, including:
Anxiety and panic
Trauma responses and feeling constantly on edge
Phobias and fears
Stress and overwhelm
Habits and long-standing patterns
Physical symptoms linked to stress or anxiety
Many clients come to this work after finding that insight or talking therapy alone hasn’t fully resolved what they’re experiencing.
A nervous-system-focused approach
My approach combines clinical hypnotherapy and mindfulness, informed by trauma-aware practice.
Rather than trying to “fix” symptoms or override responses, we work with the body’s automatic protective patterns — helping the nervous system feel safer and less reactive over time.
Sessions are always paced carefully and guided by what feels manageable for you.
Location & accessibility
In-person sessions are based primarily in Chichester, West Sussex.
Clients often travel from nearby areas such as Midhurst, Havant, Westbourne, Bosham, and Emsworth, and some choose to combine in-person work with online sessions.
Further details about locations are available on the Locations page.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person.
Some people notice changes in a small number of sessions, while others prefer to work more gradually. There’s no obligation to commit to a fixed number of sessions, and we review progress together as we go.
Getting started
If you’re interested in working together in person, you’re welcome to arrange a free initial consultation. This is a relaxed conversation where we can talk things through and see whether this approach feels right for you.
You can also book sessions directly if you already feel ready.
A note on expectations
Results vary from person to person. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and lasting change depends on individual circumstances and engagement with the work. I don’t offer guarantees, and hypnotherapy is not a quick fix — but many people find it a supportive and meaningful way forward.
