Brain entrainment encourages your brain waves to safely slow until you fall asleep. It can be incredibly effective for some people and works by stimulating the brain into entering a trance state using music.  Brain entrainment is based on the principle that two different rhythms will synchronise with each other over time. In self-hypnosis the music helps the brain waves slow in a safe and relaxing way to induce sleep. We use brain entrainment for our sleep hypnosis recordings because it can enhance both the speed at which you fall asleep and the depth of your sleep.
